We all have something that we are afraid of. Be it spiders, heights, enclosed spaces, water, insects and the list goes on. When faced with our fears our body tends to act in an irrational manner that tends to be out of proportion. Do note dangers are always real and it is important to be aware of them. By using Hypnosis and NLP the fear response is better managed so that it is within reason and not blown out of proportion.

We all have something that we are afraid of be it spiders, heights, enclosed spaces, insects or things that go bump in the dark and the list goes on. They create instinctive fight, flight or freeze responses which can be irrational and out of proportion. If you find yourself affected by a fear that is holding you back know that it can be managed by using hypnotherapy and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) techniques.

Do note therapy here does not involve completely eliminating the fear response. If you see real danger it is important to be aware of the threat present and to react in an appropriate manner. What therapy helps with is controlling the out of proportion responses and emotions to the fear stimulus.

We acquire these fear/phobic responses in two ways. First is we learn the pattern/response by watching others respond to a stimulus.The other is by personally experiencing an emotionally charged encounter caused by the fear inducing stimulus.

Learnt phobia patterns can in therapy with fewer sessions (2-3) as compared to emotionally induced phobia patterns which would take a minimum of 5 sessions.
